This composition, along with Dream Sketches, is one of my favorite compositions. Mainly because it is primarily an improvised tune, inspired by a rare afternoon rain in Southern California.

It was recorded in one take, the only editing being in terms of dynamics plus adding the strings and rain/thunder sound effects. It creates exactly the type of atmospheric sound that I was hoping for. Hope you like it too.
